摘　　要：抗战时期高校内迁是国民党政府应对战时需要的应激性措施,但同时也应该看到,在此期间,国民政府按照西部开发战略的需求,有针对性地对内迁高校实施了布局调整,并采取一系列措施整顿和调整战时高等教育体系,使得高等教育在全国区域分布不平衡的局面有所改善,在质量上得到了一定程度的提升,对于西部经济社会发展起到了重要的促进作用,其历史意义值得关注。The move of Chinese universities to the inland of west China during the Anti-Japanese War was a stress reaction of the KMT Government in the war. At the same time, the KMT Government also gave a layout adjustment of these universities for improving Chinese higher education and for satisfying the strategic development of west China. This layout adjustment helped improve the education quality of China and played a positive role in the social and economic development of west China, whose historical significance deserves further studies.
