摘　　要：为了经济地实现光纤到户（FTTH），必须更加迅速地连接光纤终端和更加简单地存储接头，并降低光纤连接技术的成本。为了实现这一目的，日本各大公司最近几年相继开发出不同类型的可现场安装光纤连接器。本文简要叙述了几大公司开发的不同类型的可现场安装连接器的结构、特点和性能。In order to achieve fiber to home （FTTH） economically, it is necessary to connect the optical fiber termination more quickly, to store the fiber joints more simply storage and to reduce the cost of fiber optic connection technology. To achieve this goal, different types of field installable optical fiber connectors have been developed successively in recent years by major companies in Japan. The structure, characteristics and performance of different type of the field installable optical fiber connectors developed by several large companies in Japan are described briefly in this paper.
