冲击合成“Carbonado”型聚晶金刚石微粉加载装置设计

摘  要:对采用炸药驱动平面飞片撞击石墨合成聚晶金刚石微粉的冲击加载过程进行了数值模拟,计算了不同加载条件下飞片的速度历史、石墨中的压力波形以及追赶稀疏波和侧向稀疏波的影响范围。设计了相应的加载装置,可以在石墨样品中产生大于34 GPa的冲击压力,满足合成聚晶金刚石的压力条件。用该装置进行了验证实验,结果表明:合成的金刚石外形基本为球形,颗粒度均匀,粒度中值约为0.25μm,是"Carbonado"型聚晶金刚石微粉。Numerical simulation was performed on the dynamic loading process of polycrystalline diamond synthesis by plane flyer shock loading. The flyer velocity curves, the pressure wave shape in the graphite, as well as the influence of the oveaaking and lateral rarefaction wave were calculated. Loading set-up for diamond synthesis by explosive detonation was designed, which can provide shock pressure of 30 GPa, satisfying the pressure requirement for polycrystalline diamond synthesis. Confirmatory experiments were done. The results showed that the diamond powders were uniform and spherical-shaped, and the median grain diameter was about 0.25 μm, which was obviously carbonado polycrystalline diamond powder.
