偏振光经过1/4波片后偏振态的变化

摘　　要：利用Jones矩阵研究偏振光通过1/4波片后偏振态的变化,主要计算线偏振光、椭圆偏振光和圆偏振光通过1/4波片后偏振态的变化.计算结果表明,入射线偏振光的偏振方向与波片快(慢)轴一致时,出射光仍为线偏振光;偏振方向与波片快(慢)轴成π/4角时,出射光为圆偏振光;偏振方向与波片快(慢)轴成任意角时,出射光为椭圆偏振光;而入射椭圆偏振光的椭圆主轴与波片快(慢)轴一致时,出射光为线偏振光;椭圆主轴与波片快(慢)轴成任意角时,仍为椭圆偏振光;若入射光为圆偏振光,则出射光为线偏振光.The change of the polarization status for the polarized light passing through quarter wave plate was researched by making use of Jones matrix,including linearly polarized light,elliptically polarized light and garden polarized light.The calculation results show that the linearly polarized light does not alter the polarization status,when it＇s polarization direction is the same with the fast（slow） axis of the wave plate;and it turns into the circularly polarized light,when there is a angle between the the polarization direction and the fast（slow） axis;but it will be the elliptically polarized light with an arbitrary angle.Also,The emergence light will be the linearly polarized light,if the principal axis of the incidenct elliptically polarized light is parallel to the fast（slow） axis of the wave plate;and the polarization status does not change with an arbitrary angle.While the circularly polarized light is incoming,the emergence light must be the linearly polarized light.
