摘　　要：目的探讨持续质量改进(continuous quality improvement,CQI)在医疗废物管理实践中的应用效果。方法 2008年8月-2009年2月应用CQI理论指导下对本院废物实施管理,比较实施前与实施半年后医务人员对医疗废物管理知识掌握情况及医疗废物管理检查中出现不合格的情况。结果 CQI半年后医务人员对医疗废物管理知识掌握合格率明显高于改进前(P<0.05);医疗废物管理检查不合格情况明显比改进前降低(P<0.01)。结论医院实施CQI可以明显提高医疗废物管理质量。Objective To observe the effect of continuous quality improvement （CQI） in the management of medical wastes. Methods From August 2008 to February 2009, the CQI was used in management of medical wastes. The medical waste management knowledge of medical staff and the failure rates in the medical waste management assessments before application of CQI were compared to those 6 months after post-application of CQI. Result The pass rate of medical waste management knowledge of medical staff six months after CQI was better than before CQI application （P 〈 0.05） and the failure cases were significantly reduced as well （P 〈 0.01）. Conclusion Application of CQI in hospital can improve the quality of medical waste management.
