高质量YCOB和Nd∶YCOB晶体的生长条件探讨

摘　　要：本文详细报道了采用熔体提拉法生长高质量三硼酸氧钙钇［ＹＣａ４Ｏ（ＢＯ３）３，ＹＣＯＢ］和掺钕三硼酸氧钙钇［Ｎｄ∶ＹＣａ４Ｏ（ＢＯ３）３，Ｎｄ∶ＹＣＯＢ］的结果。详细讨论了各种因素对晶体生长的影响。认为籽晶取向和温度梯度是影响该晶体生长的主要因素；其它因素，如提拉速度、转速及熔体准备过程对晶体生长也有重要作用。综合考虑各种因素后生长了高质量的ＹＣＯＢ和Ｎｄ∶ＹＣＯＢ晶体。典型尺寸为２０×５０ｍｍ。Growth condition for high quality yttrium calcium oxyborate [YCa 4O(BO 3) 3,YCOB] and neodymium doped yttrium calcium oxyborate(Nd∶YCOB) single crystals were reported in details.Various factors which affect the crystal growth were discussed .Among those the seed orientation and temperature gradient of the growth system were considered as two key factors.Other factors such as growth rate,rotation speed were also importent for the growth.On the basis of this work,we carefully designed the growth condition resulting in the growth of high quality YCOB and Nd∶YCOB crystals with typical dimension of 20mm in diameter and 50mm in length.
