摘　　要：介绍了UG的功能特点及其二次开发技术,并对目前在UG方面的一些典型应用作了介绍,指出对单一数据库、参数化,基于特征、全相关等于一体的三维CAD/CAE/CAM软件,UG的应用必将越来越广泛越深入。UG是一个通用软件,用户必须在此基础上进行二次开发,才能满足专门模具设计的需要,提高设计效率。UG在它所触及的各行各业中的应用程度和深度虽然各不相同,但其效果是显著的。The article introduced the UG function characteristic and the re-development technologies,and introduced some model application in the UG.Pointed out to the sole database,the parametrization,based on the characteristic,the entire correlation is equal to a body three dimensional CAD/CAE/CAM the software UG application to will certainly more and more widespread and thorough.UG is common software,the user must carry on the re-development in this foundation,can meet the needs which the special mold designs,enhances the rated capacity.UG touched all walks of life in the application although the extent and depth varily,but the results is significant.
