晚清嘉兴学者许楣、许梿的货币理论述评

摘　　要：晚清嘉兴著名学者许楣、许梿在尖锐批判王鎏的名目主义货币理论的基础上系统地阐发了一种典型的金属主义货币理论。这种货币理论主要论及了三大问题:货币的本质及价值、王鎏钞法的实质及危害、白银外流危机。就其哲学本质而言,它只是一种几乎完全错误的货币拜物教思想,但它也如实地反映了鸦片战争前后中国货币制度的实际情形和广大人民的利益诉求,并较好地顺应了当时中国商品经济发展的客观需要。Xu Mei and Xu Lian,two famous scholars from Jiaxing in late Qing dynasty,systematically expounded a typical metallic monetary theory based on the sharp criticism of Wang Liu＇s nominal monetary theory.This monetary theory deals mainly with three issues： the nature and value of currency,the nature and harm of Wang Liu＇s paper money method and the outflow crisis of Chinese silver.In philosophical essence,it only was an almost completely wrong monetary fetishism,but accurately reflected the fact of Chinese monetary system and the demand of Chinese people and better complied with the objective need of the commercial economic development before or after the opium war.
