摘　　要：运动估计（MotionEstimation．ME）是运动图象编码的一个重要步骤。设计了一个ME芯片。论述该芯片的设计原则以及框架结构。实际上，该设计原则可以用来指导其它嵌入式芯片的设计。Motion estimation (ME) is a key phase in the moving picthe codlng. We have designed a ME cbip. In this Paper, the designing pbilosoPhy of this chip, including how to determine its functions and behavior of peripheral, is presented. thcn its sturucture is discussed brieny. In fact, the desigchg Philosophy Presented here can be used to guide design of other eboedded chips.
