摘　　要：继2008年奥运会在北京举办之后,中国又举办了2010年世博会,这说明了中国人对奥运精神与世博理念的认同。世博会产生早于现代奥运会,但两者都产生于西方文明,在早期的发展过程中始终维护着西方文明的价值体系;两者在发展过程中越来越趋向于全球化,这也是社会发展的必然结果;同时两者在发展理念上逐渐趋同。After the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the Word Expo is holding in Shanghai in 2010. It illustrates that all of the people have identified with the spirits of the Olympic and ideas of World Expo. Expo appear earlier than the modern Olympic Games, but both are produced by Western civilization. The early process of their development has always maintained the value system of Western civilization, but later have come more and more towards the globalization. That is the inevitable result of social development; while both the gradual convergence in the development of ideas. Their development ideas are gradual converging.
