Purification of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and its surface modification

摘  要:采用浓硝酸对碳纳米管在110℃进行纯化处理,纯化时间为2h、4h、6h、8h和12h,SEM分析表明,纯化后的碳纳米管的分散性大大改善,纯化4h的效果最好。紫外分光光度法表明不论是在水中还是乙醇中,经热浓硝酸纯化处理4h后的多壁碳纳米管的标准工作曲线斜率都是最大,说明纯化4h的碳纳米管分散效果最好。经纯化4h的碳纳米管,分别用十二烷基磺酸钠(DBS)、聚乙二醇124(PEG)、聚乙烯醇2000(PVA)、偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)进行表面修饰,采用紫外分光光度法分析表明,用偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)作为表面活性剂时,标准工作曲线的斜率最大,偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)作为表面活性剂对碳纳米管的分散性最好。Concentrated nitric acid was used to purify carbon nanotubes at 110 ℃ for 2,4,6,8 h,respectively.The SEM showed that the dispersion was greatly improved which were purified by concentrated nitric acid,and the dispersion of the carbon nanotubes were best,which were purified for 4 h.The results of UV-vis absorption spectroscopy showed that the slope of the standard working curve of the carbon nanotubes purified for 4h,weather dispersed in water or ethanol,was higher than others.And as well as the phenomenon demonstrated that the dispersion of the carbon nanotubes purified for 4h was better than others.Sodium dodecyl sulfonate(DBS),polyethylene glycol 124(PEG),polyvinyl alcohol 2000(PVA),azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) were used for the surface modification of the carbon nanotubes one by one,which were purified by concentrated nitric acid for 4h.The UV-vis absorption spectroscopy indicated that azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN),as a surfactant,the slope of the standard working curve of carbon nanotubes was higher than others,so it was best to the dispersion of carbon nanotubes.
