On Three Key Principles for Developing Speaking Skill

摘　　要：Language communicative competence is the ultimate goal of English teaching. Speaking ability is important in English study and communication. Speaking can help students to learn English, particularly if the authentic communication in English occurs. This shows that speaking is also important in English language teaching. Which key principles are important for developing speaking skill? Mainly from a theoretical analysis of the importance and the necessity of three key principles of developing speak- ing skill, this paper intends to explain the application of these principles.Language communicative competence is the ultimate goal of English teaching.
