摘 要:提出了一种基于物理层的自适应编码调制(AMC)技术和数据链路层的混合自动请求重传(HARQ)技术的点到点跨层设计。在此基础上,联合考虑传输层的传输控制协议(TCP),提出一种端到端的跨层设计方案。通过理论分析及仿真比较可以看出,端到端的跨层设计能更为有效地优化网络整体性能。As one of the crucial techniques in next generation of mobile communications, cross layer design of wireless networks has become an important issue. In recent years, there were large numbers of topics studied in this field. The cross layer design includes two primary components: the point-to-point cross layer design and the end-to-end cross layer design. The end-to-end cross layer design can optimize the performance of the whole network with more research value. This paper firstly proposes a point-to-point cross layer design based on adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) at physical layer and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) at data link layer, and then provides an end-to-end cross layer design scenario by jointly considering transmission control protocol (TCP) at transport layer. According to our analysis and comparison, the end-to-end cross layer design can optimize the whole network performance more efficiently.
