摘  要:谐振腔发光二极管(Resonant Cavity LED,RCLED)是一种新型发光二极管,它具备了普通发光二极管和垂直腔面半导体激光器的优点,使半导体光源的单色性和波长稳定性都有了质的变化。由于谐振腔的限制,RCLED光谱的半高宽(Full Width at Half Maximum,FWHM)比普通发光二极管窄95%以上;另外,由于RCLED的谐振腔受温度等外因条件影响极小,光源也具有非常好的波长稳定性。这使RCLED作为单色光源在物理实验中应用成为可能。RCLED(Resonant Cavity LED) is a new kind of light-emitting diode,which has the advantages of both common light-emitting diodes and semiconductor lasers with vertical-cavity.It brings semiconductor light source essential changes in monochromaticity and wavelength stability.Due to the limit of resonant cavity,the FWHM of RCLED spectrums have been reduced by more than 95% as against common light-emitting diodes.What is more,there is little influence of external factors ( such as temperature) on the resonant cavity,so RCLED has good wavelength stability.Therefore,it is possible to make RCLED as a monochromatic source in physics experiments.
