摘　　要：以开发辽宁地方文献《奉天通志》人名地名索引为案例,从图书馆信息服务角度阐述了对地方文献服务工作的认识。Taking the name index and geographical name index of Liaoning local document Mukden Tongzhi as an example,the paper describes the understandings on the local documents from library information service’ s view.
