摘　　要：本文围绕图书馆资源与服务产出实绩及其对学校教学与科研的影响力,强调服务是图书馆的立馆之本。信息共享空间(IC)是提升图书馆信息服务的有效手段;是确认图书馆价值的可拓展空间;是实现图书馆科学化管理和提升服务效益的目标。实践表明,IC代表着现代图书馆发展的趋势。The paper discusses the relationship between library resources and the performance of library services,and their impacts on university teaching and research,with emphasis on library services as the mission of library.Information common（IC） is a good means for the improvement of library information services,and is an extensible space for library value and a target for realizing scientific library management and increasing benefits of library services.The practice shows that IC is one of the trends of modern library development.
