摘　　要：城市边缘带是城市和乡村之间的过渡地带,是城市扩展的产物。及时了解和掌握城市边缘带的范围,对合理进行城市规划,调整用地结构,具有积极的意义。遥感技术动态、快速、适时获取数据的特点,为城市边缘带范围的界定提供了技术保障。本文以TM影像作为信息源,引入信息熵和土地利用程度综合指数,研究探讨北京城市边缘带范围界定的方法,尝试提取北京城市边缘带范围,分析北京城市边缘带的蔓延趋势及原因。研究结果表明,北京城市边缘带范围包括北京市区及郊区的一小部分,呈环形分布,外缘部分向四周不规则延伸,尤其在西北和东南方向上延伸较多。结合北京市统计资料得出,根据信息熵理论和土地利用程度综合指数模型确定的北京城市边缘带范围基本符合北京市近年来的发展特点,能够反映北京市的城市发展轨迹,正确预测城市发展方向。Urban fringe lies in the transitional region between the urban and rural districts.Defining the urban fringe and its changing will be beneficial to urban planning and readjustment of land use structure.For obtaining the data dynamically and rapidly,RS provides the technology guarantee.Taking Landsat TM as basic information,using the theories of Shannon entropy and land use degree comprehensive index,the methods on how to define the urban fringe in Beijing are discussed.Further,the range of urban fringe area in Beijing is found out by using these two methods.It shows that the area of urban fringe in Beijing includes a part of the urban district and also a small part of rural district.It distributed as a ring,but irregularly,stretched especially northwest and southeast.Based on the statistical data in Beijing,the area of urban fringe extracted by the theories of Shannon entropy and land use degree comprehensive index fixes the development characteristics in Beijing,reflects the development track basically,and predicts the direction correctly.
