摘　　要：本文回顾了英格兰农村发展的现状及其相关的规划体系与规划原则,介绍其农村公共服务及设施配置标准的制定与评估。基于英国相关的研究进展和前景预测,从"城/乡"定义、农村服务及设施配置的标准、实施和完善等方面,为我国的实践提供启示。While reviewing the present state of English rural areas and those relevant planning institutions and principles,this article focuses on the provision of rural services and facilities in England by investigating its standard-setting/ reviewing and some key parameters for statistical purposes.Based on current research progress and relevant prospect projections within the UK, thoughts also put forward with regard to China＇ s＂urban/rural＂definition as well as the standardsetting, implementation and improvement of rural service and facility provision.
