摘　　要：理查德·迈耶是白色建筑派旗手,他的罗马千禧教堂更是白色建筑的典型,文章通过介绍罗马千禧教堂的设计思想和手法,进一步认识理查德·迈耶的白色建筑的典型意义——顺应自然、时代性及追求建筑的的层次与光影效果。Richard Meier is the bannerman of white building, and his Jubilee Church in Rome is a typical white building. The article introduces the design ideas and methods of Jubilee Church and further understands the typical meaning of Richard Meier＇ s white building ：complying with the nature, epochal character and the pursuit of the levels and lighting effects of building.
