摘　　要：空语类一直是转换生成语法研究中的重要课题之一,英语、维语的空语类在句法上既有共性也有差异,深入了解二者的异同,不但有助于揭示语言的共性,也为第二语言学习者提供了一个新的理论视角。Empty category has always been the one of important research projects in transformational-generative grammar. There exist commonness and differences between English and Uyghur in empty category. To deeply comprehend commonness and differences of them is helpful not to reveal linguistic universals, but also to provide a new angle for learner in second language learning.
