摘　　要：麻风的周围神经损害可引起畸残。畸残预防(POD)是麻风防治不可分割的一部分,最重要的是对神经损害要早期发现、适当治疗。类固醇激素治疗麻风反应和神经功能损害(NFI)效果较好。国内也用标准剂量的类固醇激素治疗近期的 NFI。Under collaborative project on lep- rosy rehabilitation of PRC's MOPH with TLMI,1, 407 persons affected with leprosy have been moni- tored for possible nerve function impairment (NFI) during the period of May 1995 to Feb.1998,of which 191 were found to have NFI and given fixed regimen of prednisone.36.7% of the NFI occured before diagnosis of leprosy,35.6% during MDT. 7.5%(105/1,407) of the persons suffered from silent neuritis,according for 55.9% of those with NFI.62.6% of those with sensory nerve impair- ment responded to prednisone satisfactorily,giving recovery rates of 73.8%,76.55% and 81.0% in ulnar,median and posterior tibial nerve respec- tively,getting significant improvement (P<0.05) even in those with over six-month duration of NFI.But motor function improvement was less sat- isfied,specially in ulnar and external popliteal nerves.The authors pointed out that once detected clinically,the NFI was not early,and therefore to use more sensitive instrument for detecting early sensory impairment is important.
