摘　　要：分析了关系型数据库的缺点,阐述了面向对象开发方法的优点及面向对象技术应用到数据库中的优势,对面向对象数据库的应用价值和前景进行了展望。Based on the analysis of the disavantages of the relational database and the advantages of the object-oriented methodology and the application of such methodology to database,the practical value and the potential application of object-oriented database are forecast.
