摘　　要：专题地图指标内容的选择是专题地图设计和制作的前提。本文从分析城市专题统计数据的内容、特点出发,综合考虑专题地图表达的可行性和多样性,形成了一套完整的城市专题地图指标内容分析和处理方法。提出并使用了"指标——空间——时间"模型来描述专题地图指标内容,该方法的确立是选定专题地图主题和确立专题内容结构的基础。Choosing indicators of thematic map is the prerequisite of designing and processing of thematic maps.This paper firstly analyzes the characteristics of thematic statistic data and then comprehensively considers the viable and diverse presentation of thematic map.Finally,a complete set of method using in analyzing and processing urban indicators of thematic maps is proposed.This method employs the IST model to describe the contents of thematic indicators.This method is the basic work to identify the themes of thematic maps and establish the thematic content structure.
