摘　　要：西台遗址发掘了保存完好的两座南北相邻的长方形围壕,应有"城"的含义。两座围壕内分别发现兴隆洼文化和红山文化两个时期的房址及遗物。红山文化房址和围壕中共出土10件陶范,其中两组陶范为合范,保存完好,是铸造青铜器的模具。红山文化房址中发现了塑造精细的女性陶塑。这些重要发现,为探讨中国文明起源提供了重要的资料。Two well preserved ditches like a ＂city＂ found in south and north in Xitai Site. House foundations and relics dated to Xinglongwa Culture and Hongshan Culture were unearthed. 10 ceramic molds using for making bronzes were found here, among them two were well preserved. A fine female clay sculpure was discovered in the foundation of Hongshan Culture. This important discoveries provide materials for China＇s Civilization. studying
