摘　　要：产品数据管理技术正成为企业新一轮的应用热点，尽管最初发源于制造业，但其原理同样适用于包括建筑工程、民用设施等行业在内的其它应用领域。本文结合我们自行开发的一套ＰＤＭ系统——ＯｎＤｏｃｓ系统，在某市政工程设计院中的成功实施的经过，讨论了该项技术及系统的特点以及在工程设计院环境中实施的方法学，有关结论和经验同样可用于其它领域中的应用实施。Product Data Management(PDM)is becoming one of the hottest issues in companies that adopting new information technology.Though originated from manufacturing industry,the main theory and methods of it can be well used in various domains such as the architecture engineering,civic facilites building etc.. In this paper,by introducing a PDM system named“OnDocs”that was developed by us and the successful implementation in an Engineering Design Institute environment,we have discussed the methodology of PDM implementation.Some of the suggestions and conclusion can be adpoted and refered when taking practice in other domains.
