摘　　要：小说文类在20世纪中国获得了前所未有的价值提升。其中,中国小说史学的兴起起到了至关重要的作用。中国现代大学学制的建立,又成为小说史学兴起的关键因素。特别是蔡元培长校的北京大学,将小说纳入大学课程之中,不仅使之进入最高学府,提升了其文学和文化地位,而且培养了以小说为研究对象的新一代学者,实现了学术的薪火相传,成为五四新文化主张以制度化的方式得以落实的一个突出个案。Fiction was attached greater importance than ever before in the 20th century China by the rise of Chinese fiction historiography,which depended on the establishment of modern Chinese educational system of university.Especially,the Peking University,when Cai Yuan-pei was the president,brought fiction into school timetable.Thus,Peking University promoted the literary and cultural position of fiction and trained plenty of young scholars who studied fiction.The education with fiction in Peking University became a glaring example of how to establish the ideas of the New Culture Movement.
