摘　　要：公共图书馆是社会公众学习的场所,也是满足读者阅读需求的主阵地,面对当前社会出现的阅读危机,图书馆应该充分发挥它独有的社会教育职能,开展多元化的服务,提高服务的质量与服务水平,并要求图书馆从业人员提高自身素质,注重知识的更新与补充,为读者阅读进行有效的指导。Public library provides a range of services for the public to learn and it has responsibility to meet reading requirements of its readers.Facing current reading crisis,public library,in order to improve its service,should give full play to its particular social educational function and offer multiple services.In order to offer effective reading guidance to the readers,the librarians have to pay attention to knowledge updating and improve own qualities.
