摘　　要：图书滞还现象在图书馆业务管理中非常常见,逾期读者通常被要求按逾期天数支付相应的滞还费。许多图书馆采取的现有措施并不能杜绝"天价"滞还费的产生,这引起了逾期读者的强烈不满。无论是从法律规定视角,或者是从和谐社会需求视角,还是从图书馆自身服务和管理视角来看,设置滞还费的收取上限都很有必要。It is very frequent to happen in the library business administration that readers return books late.The readers who return books late will be charged a fee.Fees vary depending on the overdue days.The measures adopted by many libraries nowadays can not eliminate the existed of the ＂Ceiling-Price＂ fees,which leads to the readers who return books late feel very dissatisfied.From the three aspects,including the legal rule,the demand of the harmonious social,the service and management of library,it is very necessary to establish an upper limit for the charges for overdue books.
