摘　　要：改革开放以来,大众文化成为中国目前主导的文化形态。然而,大众文化具有的负面价值削弱了其在中国社会现代化转型期的积极作用。因此,精英文化之于中国大众文化的特定历史意义在于,精英文化能够对大众文化进行必要的文化启蒙,用形而上的纬度提升大众媒体和大众文化的人文精神和人文内涵,使得大众文化的发展符合中国现代化转型的内在要求。Since the reform and opening-up, popular culture has become the dominant pattern in China. However, its negative values undermine social modernization in China＇s transition period. Therefore, the historical significance of elite culture is able to carry out cultural enlightenment of popular culture, sublimate the human spirit with the metaphysical latitude, and make the development of popular culture in line with the inherent requirement of China＇s modernization.
