摘  要:研究了一种支持多个光网络单元(ONU)之间直接通信的时分无源光网络(TDM-PON)系统.使用正交频分多址接入(OFDMA)技术来传输ONU之间的互通数据,在频谱上区分ONU互通数据和TDM数据以兼容现有TDM-PON系统.根据ONU互通网络架构改进和优化了以太无源光网络(EPON)动态带宽分配算法.仿真结果表明,合适的正交频分复用(OFDM)和非归零码(NRZ)信号功率比、频率间隔和子载波个数能有效减小噪声及色散对混传业务性能的影响,系统可以同时传输5.00 Gbit/s EPON上下行业务和2.50 Gbit/s互通业务,互通业务不占用时分业务时隙,支持互通带宽动态配置及兼容现有TDM-PON系统,完全满足虚拟局域网(VPN)等业务需求.A novel time division multiplexing passive optical network (TDM-PON) supporting direct communication among different optical network unit (ONU) was investigated. Orth.ogonal frequency divsion multiplexing access (OFDMA) technology was used to transmit the date among different ONU. The OFDM data and the traditional TDM data were located in different frequency band to be compatible with existing TDM PON system. An optimized dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for EPON was proposed. Simulations show that the performance of the mixed services can be effec- tively improved by optimum OFDM-to-NRZ (not return zero) power ratio, the number of sub-carriers and frequency interval. The interconnect rate reaches up to 2.50 Gbit/s when the TDM data rate was 5.00 Gbit/s. Furthermore, this architecture has many advantages such as dynamic allocation of inter- connect bandwidth, no bandwidth cost of TDM business and compatible with existing TDM-PON. It could meet the requirement of virtual private network (VPN) business.
