摘　　要：广西是中国油桐的主要产区之一,民国时期,桐油曾占广西出口特产价值的第一位。广西省政府采取了多项有效措施,大力推广油桐种植。由于政府力量的介入,广西油桐种植事业得到了长足进步,从而促进了广西经济的发展。China is home to Tung-oil trees, which occupied an important position in Chinese exports. As one of the major producing areas, Guangxi once boasted No. 1 in tung-oil export in the period of the Republic of China. Realizing the important role of tung-oil in the economic development, Guangxi provincial government took measures to promote the tung-oil trees planting. With the boost of government force, tung-oil trees planting developed fast, accelerating the economic development of Guangxi.
