Fifty-seven soil and street dust samples were collected in high-tech development zone, center city, economic and technological development zone in Wuhu urban. As concentrations and health risk assessment were carried out by using USEPA health risk assessment model. Results showed that: As concentrations in soil and street dust were ranged 2.25—31.86 mg·kg^-1 and 3.53—40.97 mg·kg^-1,with the average of 14.09 mg·kg^-1 and 13.16 mg·kg^-1,which had non-obvious pollution. As concentrations in soil and street dust of high-tech development zone was obvious higher than those of economic and technological development zone and center city.Correlation of As concentrations in soil and dust with physical and chemical properties is not significant.Human exposure health risk assessment showed that As non-cancerous risk in soil and street dust were lower than 1,which had no significant risk.Hand-mouth intake way was the main way of children′s As exposure to soil and surface dust, skin absorption way was the second way and through air inhalation way was the smallest.Cancer risk of As were lower than their threshold values which indicated a lower risk of cancer and could not cause health hazards.
