论适度人口的构成

摘　　要：适度人口理论最早是由西方人口学家提出来的,已有上百年的历史。但什么是适度人口,至今尚无定论。笔者曾在《适度人口新论》一文中,对"适度人口"内涵进行了新的探讨,从而得出"适度人口就是一定时期内社会物质生产部门和非物质生产部门所需要的适度劳动力人口以及由此产生的社会必要被赡养人口之和"的逻辑结论。从这个结论中可以看出,适度人口是由两部分构成的:一是社会所需要的适度劳动力人口;二是由适度劳动力人口所决定的社会必要被赡养人口。本文将从适度人口构成角度,进一步探讨适度人口问题。The optimum population theory was first put forward by the Western demographers,and has had a century of history.But what is an appropriate population has not been determined.The auther has made a study of the connotation of ＂the optimum population＂in ＂the New Theory of the Optimum Population＂,whose logic conclusion is that ＂the optimum population is the sum of the propriate workforce population needed by a certain period of time material production sectors and non-material production sectors as well as of the appropriate population that the community needs to support.From the conclusion we can see that the optimum population is composed of two parts： first,the workforce population that a modest community needs;second,the population needs supporting by society,which is decided by the appropriate workforce population.This article,from the perspective of an appropriate composition of the population,makes a further exploration into the issue of the optimum population.
