摘　　要：奥古斯都统治时期,人口减少,上层社会通奸现象严重。为了整饬社会秩序,鼓励婚姻和生育,并建立有序的公共生活,奥古斯都颁布了一系列婚姻法。不过婚姻法在实施的过程中遇到了阻挠,没有起到明显的成效。这是罗马首次通过国家立法的形式干预到罗马的私人领域和家庭生活。奥古斯都颁布的婚姻法代表了罗马法律发展的新趋势。During the reign of Augustus,population declined and adultery was popular in the upper class.In order to revive the social ethic,to encourage marriage and procreation、and to establish the order of public life,Augustus issued a series of marital laws.However,it didn＇t work well and were opposed widely.It is the first time for Roman government to intervene the private area and family life through law-making.Legislation issued by Augustus represented the new tendency of Roman law.
