摘  要:朱光潜将西方的"sublime"一词译为"雄伟",梁宗岱否定了其准确性。他依据字源学的标准,将"sublime"译为"崇高",确定了其在中国现代美学中的译名;他将阴柔美与崇高相对接,扩大了崇高理论的研究对象;他否认康德的崇高学说具有绝对真理性,为"数学的崇高"和"力学的崇高"注入了新的内涵。Liang Zongdai didn't think it accurate that Zhu Guangqian translated the English word "sublime" into "majestic" (雄伟).Therefore,he translated it into "Chong Gao" (崇高) on the basis of its original meaning,which makes "Chong Gao" become a commonly used translated term in modern aesthetics.He connected "grace" with "sublime" which enlarged the studied subject of sublime theory.He denied the absolute truth of Kantian theory,and added new meanings into the theory of "mathematical sublime" and "mechanical sublime".
