监狱文化思潮与现代性

摘　　要：文化促成了监狱的改革、改良与变革，并在不断的改革、改良与变革中更加趋于理性和具有人文属性。尤其是现代监狱制度的构建，更是文化的产物，换句话说，是文化激活了监狱的现代性，当然，监狱的现代性又促成了文化尤其是监狱文化的培育和发展。在这个意义上说，监狱文化和现代性具有互动和互补关系。以近代以来世界监狱制度的变迁和中国监狱的改革改良为视角考量，便可得到确证。Culture makes the prison gradually reform in a better way, and gives the prison more rationality and humanity, especially, the construction of modern prison system is the product of culture, in other words, it is the culture that activates the modernity of the prison. Of course, the modernity of the prison also promotes the development of culture, especially culture in prison. In this sense, they are interactive and complementary, which can be proved by the changes of the world prison system and the reform of China＇s prison.
