摘　　要：介绍了Comet技术产生的背景以及Comet技术的基本原理和几种典型的实现形式,并介绍了Comet技术所依托的AJAX技术,并在此基础上说明了使用ASP.NET实现Comet技术的WEB即时通信系统的设计思路。This article introduces the background and basic principle of Comet technology, and several typical realization patterns, and introduces the AJAX technology. Then it illuminates the design of web instant messaging system using Comet technology and ASP. NET.
