摘　　要：模块机车亦可称为通用构架（Ｐｌａｔｆｏｒｍ）机车或拼装式机车，是本世纪９０年代以来，为适应市场迅速变化的需求而开发的一系列性能优良、技术先进、交货快、造价低、可靠性高、维修性好的机车家族总称。欧美一些公司已经或正在为不同国家和地区铁路提供模块机车系列。模块机车的构思与实践可供我国内燃机车、电力机车甚至是车辆生产厂家借鉴。Modular locomotives,as may be called platform locomotives or fabricated locomotives of plug and play,is the general name fora locomotive family.Which was developed in 90s to meet the freguently changing locomotive market.This family includes a series of locomotives featuring fine performance,advanced technology,quick delivery,low cost,high reliability and easy maintenance.Several companies in Europe and North America have supplied modular locomotives to different countries or regions.The concept of modular locomotive and its application can be used for reference to the manufacturers of diesel and electric locomotives and to the rolling stock industry too.
