摘　　要：在介绍电子书的定义、特征以及发展现状的基础上,对电子书在图书馆阅读方式的提供、图书馆服务、图书馆工作流程、图书馆保存人类文化职能方面产生的影响及对图书馆形态、图书馆资源权威可信的挑战进行探讨,认为图书馆若要持续发展,就应该把挑战当作机遇,以电子书为契机,与时俱进使图书馆服务按需而变,不断提升服务水平,适应社会发展需求。In view of the huge impacts that the rapid development of electronic books exerts on the library, this paper gives a detailed discussion of the various impacts that electronic books pose respectively to the reading modes, the service, workflow and the library＇ s function of reserving human culture on the basis of an introduction to the definition, features and current developing status of the elec- tronic books. Furthermore, it analyzes the challenge that electronic books exert on the existence form of the library and the authority and credibility of library resources. To conclude, the library should take the challenge of electronic books as an opportunity, keep pace with time and demand and constantly improve the quality of service so as to adapt itself to the needs of social development .
