摘　　要：人生命的"神圣"不在于其"神秘",不在于其长短,不取决于生命是否被进行技术操作,而在于人的生命本身即是目的,在于人的生命本身属于"人"的特性。基因技术并没有损害人类生命的"神圣",相反却进一步提高了生命的质量,增强了生命的尊严,使生命"神圣"的基础更牢固,意蕴更丰富,使生命更庄严、更伟大成为可能。The ＂holiness＂ of human beings does not rest on ＂mystery＂, length of life, or whether it is manipulated by technology. The human being is a part of the ＂hu- man＂ characteristic. The human being is the objective. Genetic technology has not decreased the ＂holiness＂ of human beings. The fact is that genetic technology has increased the sanctity of humans, improved the quality of human life, and made humanity much better.
