摘　　要：《赶牲畜人的妻子》是澳大利亚著名作家亨利.劳森的一篇短篇小说。他创立了属于澳大利亚本土的文学,其清晰而又丰满的叙事线条、传统而又巧妙的叙事手法完全符合亚里士多德的《诗学》对叙事线条的理论,的确可以称得上是澳大利亚的文学瑰宝。＂The Drover＇s wife＂ is a short story written by the well-known Australian writer Henry Lawson.It occupies an important position in the history of Australian literature.He founded the Australian native literature,and its clear but colorful narrative lines and traditional but unique narrative technique is in full compliance with Aristotle＇s ＂Poetics＂ on the theory of narrative lines.It can be regarded as one of Australia literary treasures,and this article will focus on analysis of narrative line of the novel from Aristotle＇s narrative theory.
