摘　　要：近几十年来，随着全球性科学技术和经济的快速发展，国际间交流日益频繁，英语作为世界通用语，在诸多因素的作用下发生了很多新的变化，而且其变化趋于简化。语言简化的理论依据之一是经济性原则。通过搜集和归纳英语语法简化的诸多新现象并分析其简化的原因有助于对英语简化的发展趋势做出一个合理的预测，也有利于语言的教学与传播。With the rapid world-wide development of science and economy, the communication between countries is increasingly frequent. As a result, English, as a global language and influenced by many factors, has undergone many changes, most of which are simplification. One of the theories about language simplification is the principle of economy of language. By collecting and sorting our discoveries of English simplification and analyzing the causes of it, we can make a rational prediction of the trend of English simplification. Consequently it＇ s beneficial to both teaching and spreading the language.
