摘 要:文章根据Dawkins的模因论,从语言模因的类别、语言模因复制和传播的机制、语言模因的变异等三个方面,探讨了模因采取重复和类推的方式复制和传播而形成英语新词,即新模因。新模因遵循适者生存的规律形成弱势模因和强势模因,只有强势模因才能在一定的文化背景中传播。This paper,inspired by the meme theory proposed by Richard Dawkins( 1976), argues for the relationship between language memes and the neologisms, the categories of language memes, the ways of the duplication and transmission of language memes, and their variation. Language memes are duplicated and and transmitted in the way of repetition and analogy to form neologism, that is, new memes, which become the weak or strong memes on the basis of the principle "The fittest survives". Only the strong memes can be transmitted in the given cultural background.
