摘　　要：本文以《看不见的人》中相关场景描述为基础,探讨黑人文学作品中黑白意象运用的象征寓意。该意象与叙述者亲身经历交织,隐喻表现在白人主流社会中黑人所面临的生存困境。并且具有普适性,超越文化、种族及意识形态的范畴,揭示出个体生存危机。Based on relevant scenarios described in Invisible Man, this paper intends to discuss the literary attributes and implications of the white and black imagery, employed in the novel, which serves as a metaphoric reflection of the survival dilemma of most＇African decedents in the mainsgeam white community through the anonymous protagonist＇s immediate experience. Also such implications have universal application to individual＇s survival crisis regardless of cultural and ideological as well as racial background.
