摘　　要：网络视频点播（VOD）系统是指采用流媒体播放技术，将视频节目以数据流的形式传输到WEB客户端，WBE客户端使用流媒体解码器在线播放。该文构建的是基于WEB的网络视频点播系统，系统选用开源的Helix Server流媒体服务器、MYSQL数据库、Serv—U文件服务器，使用PHP编程实现影片管理系统。Intemet video-on-demand（VOD） system refers to the utility of streaming media technology, and introduce the form of Encod- ing-decoding to play video＇s program online. The infrastructure of this topic is based on a video-on-demand system which on Web, the system selects Open-Source such as Helix-Server streaming-media-servers, MYSQL databases, Serv-U FTP server, the movie management system by PHP developing.
