摘 要:传统的高温酸性化学镀镍磷工艺不适用于ABS塑料表面金属化,而低温施镀又很难获得均匀的镀层。采用低温碱性化学镀镍磷工艺并施加超声波辅助对ABS塑料施镀,通过正交试验确定了最优镀液配方和参数。结果表明:化学镀液对镀速的影响顺序为次磷酸钠浓度>硫酸镍浓度>pH值>柠檬酸钠浓度>硼酸浓度;最优工艺条件为35 g/L硫酸镍,20 g/L次磷酸钠,25 g/L柠檬酸钠,35 g/L硼酸,8 mg/L碘化钾,pH值为8,温度60℃,超声波频率28 kHz;最优配方的镀液稳定性好,制得的镀层厚度均匀,无起皮、起泡现象,表面光亮,基体完全被覆盖。Electroless Ni-P coating was prepared on the surface of ABS plastic by ultrasonic-assisted low-temperature electroless plating in an alkaline bath.The composition of plating bath was optimized based on orthogonal tests.It was found that various factors were ranked as concentration of sodium hypophosphite > concentration of nickel sulfate > pH value > concentration of sodium citrate > concentration of boric acid in terms of the effect on deposition rate.Optimized plating bath consisted of 35 g/L nickel sulfate,20 g/L sodium hypophosphite,25 g/L sodium citrate,35 g/L boric acid and 8 mg/L KI,while optimized plating conditions were determined as pH value of 8,temperature of 60 ℃ and ultrasonic frequency of 28 kHz.The optimized plating bath had a good stability.Resultant electroless Ni-P coating was bright,uniform and free of defects like peeling and bubbling,and was able to cover the whole working surface of the ABS plastic.
