湘科三号无籽西瓜新品种的选育及其特征特性

摘　　要：湘科三号系湖南省园艺研究所以多代自交04-3W4T为母本,04-5F2T为父本配制的无籽西瓜新品种。该品种中熟,全生育期96 d左右、果实发育期约需35 d,果实圆形、绿皮,平均成熟单果重6.0 kg以上,最大果重可达12 kg,果肉鲜红,中心可溶性固形物含量12.8%,皮坚硬,耐贮运,抗病性强,单产54 t/hm2左右。＂Xiangke No.3＂ is a new seedless watermelon hybrid cultivar produced by Hunan Horticultural Research Institute,which inbred with female parent 04-3W4T and male parent 04-5F2T for multi-generations.Xiangke No.3 has mid-maturity,round in shape of fruit,green and hard pericarp,red flesh,tolerance to storage and shipping,and strong disease resistance;its whole life span is about 96 days and fruit growth period is about 35 days;the average fruit weight is 6.0 kg,the fruit yield per unit is about 54 t/hm2,and the content of soluble solid material is about 12.0%.
