摘　　要：安东尼·伯吉斯的《发条橙》是他最具盛名、也最惹争议的一本小说,虽然被大部分畅行西方的乌托邦文学录所收录,但关于它在乌托邦文类中具体归属,研究者们却难有定论。本文尝试从乌托邦文学的功能角度解析《发条橙》,并与西方乌托邦思想、乌托邦文学的发展进程进行对比,以期凸现出伯吉斯乌托邦小说的独特性。A Clockwork Orange is the most famous and disputable work of Anthony Burgess.Although embodied in many authoritative bibliographies of utopian literature,its orientation of genre is still vague.This thesis is a tentative study of this work based on the function of utopian literature.The author juxtaposes the analysis of this work with the description of the development of the western utopian thought and utopian literature,in order to reveal the unique feature of A Clockwork Orange as a utopian fiction.
