高产高糖甘蔗品种桂糖23号的选育及栽培技术

摘　　要：桂糖23号是广西甘蔗研究所以早熟、高糖、高产的新台糖1号为母本,以直立且粗生耐旱、宿根性强、抗病性特强、含野生种质的崖城71-374为父本,有性杂交选育而成的甘蔗新品种,具有高产、高糖、稳产、宿根性好、抗病虫能力强、适应性广等特性,2005年通过国家品种审定。栽培上要注意蔗地改良培肥,早管理、早追肥,合理密植,综合防治病虫害,以达到高产丰收。Guitang 23 is a new sugarcane variety bred by Guangxi Sugarcane Research Institute,Nanning,Guangxi.It is characterized by high and stable cane yield,high sugar content,strong ratoon ability,high resistance to disease and insect pests and wide adaptability.It was bred through hybridization of ROC1 and Yacheng 71-374 as female and male parents,respectively.ROC1 is an early sugarcane variety characterized by high yield and sugar,and Yacheng 71-374 containing wide germplasm is characterized by thick stem diameter,resistance to drought stress,strong ratoonability and high resistance to disease.Guitang 23 was authorized by State Variety Commission in 2005.To achieve the maximum yield of this variety,some cultivation techniques including timely cultural management practices,scientific fertilization,integrated control of disease and insect pests,etc.,had been discussed in the paper.
