摘　　要：《约翰.克里斯多夫》是法国作家罗曼.罗兰经过十年构思和十年创作,为世界文学人物长廊所贡献的一位精神巨人,在他身上具有生命本能的力感和音乐天赋的激情力量。他对命运不妥协、不屈服的反抗精神,交织着堂.吉诃德式的喜剧色彩和西绪福斯式的悲剧精神。纵观克里斯多夫的一生,存在许多悖谬——崇高的精神巨人与个人中心主义者之间的悖谬、英雄的理想与实现理想的方式之间的悖谬、英雄的反抗与庸人的放纵之间的悖谬等。因此,克里斯多夫是一位具有多重性格的英雄,是个具有悖谬性的艺术形象。John Christopher,a spiritual giant in the world literature characters gallery,is created by French writer Roman Rolland after years of creative ideas and years.He has a strong strength of life with instinct and spiritual strength from the passion of music.On the fate of uncompromising resistance by Christopher combined Don Quixote-style comedy and the Sisyphus-like spirit of tragedy.There are many absurd throughout his life,such as the conflict between spiritual giants and self-centered individualism,and the paradox between heroic ideal and the ideal way to achieve,the paradox between heroic resistance and mediocre indulgence and the like.So,Christopher is a hero of multiple personality,an artistic image of the absurd.
